New Grad Nurse / RN Residency Program

Alta Hospitals System is investing in the New Grad RN as part of our effort to improve the healing and wellness of our patients and community. Our Southern California Hospital locations accepting new grad nurses include Culver City and Hollywood. We are seeking compassionate nurses to take part in our New Graduate RN Program. Our residency will offer new grads the support they need to ease the transition from nursing school to the professional nursing world by giving them the tools to develop: Safe patient care practices, Critical thinking, Communication, and Leadership.



Job Responsibilities/Duties

Program: 10-12 weeks of unit orientation with preceptor Classroom and simulation curriculum lessons to support our inpatient nursing units. A two (2) year commitment



Qualifications

Minimum Education:  Graduate from Accredited Professional School of Nursing. A  Bachelor School of Nurseing (BSN) or an Associate School Nursing (ASN).

Minimum Experience:  Less than one year of acute care hospital-based experience as a licensed RN prior to start.

Req. Certification/Licensure:  Currrent California (RN) License, American Heart Association (BLS) Certification. A two (2) year commitment
