Administrative Supervisor

The Administrative Supervisor manages nursing services and is accountable for the environment in which clinical nursing is practiced.



Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • As a member of the Nursing Executive Management Team, the Administrative Supervisor facilitates effective and efficient patient care.
  • In providing leadership to Nursing, the Administrative Supervisor participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent  with the mission, goals and objectives of the Hospital.
  • The Administrative Supervisor has responsibility for the Nursing function, including staffing, in absence of the Nurse Manager and/or Chief Nursing Officer. 


Qualifications

Minimum Education: Completion of accredited Nursing Program. Bachelors degree in Nursing required.

Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of nursing experience. Minimum of two (2) years of management experience as a Charge RN or Nursing Supervisor.

Req. Certification/Licensure: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Current American Heart Association (BLS) and (ACLS) certification.
