Senior Human Resources Business Partner

The Senior Business Partner's primary purpose is to deliver tactical and strategic human resources solutions to client organizations by developing a deep understanding of the clients' business / service model.



Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage a large client load of 1000+ employees.
  • This role will be responsible for the development of HR initiatives that directly enable the client organization to achieve their business goals. 
  • The Sr. HRBP will have experience providing effective solutions to employee / manager conflicts; Coaching, Counseling, and Progressive discipline; Investigations; Management coaching; Performance management; Compensation; Project management and strong problem solving ability.
  • Extensive knowledge of Employee Relations, Labor Relations and CA Labor Law. Healthcare or Academia background preferred. 
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Project management a plus. 
  • Fostering and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational design, management development, employee and labor relations, performance management, diversity, federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills, with a high degree of business acumen and the ability to quickly grasp complex business issues.
  • Adept at working with client management to influence / facilitate change and achievement of the unit / organization's objectives.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, including enterprise software and report management.


Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Master's degree preferred 

Minimum Experience: Eight to ten (8-10) years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience. 

Req. Certification/Licensure: PHR or SPHR preferred.
